Since 2006, River Sand & Gravel has been a member of the Salem,Namakkal,Erode community. We are
committed to providing top-quality building materials and to being as helpful as possible to every
customer, every day, at every level of our organization. Safety comes first, and River Sand has a variety
of formal safety programs. They include our safe delivery program, which helps protect our drivers and
our customers.
River Bend believes in sustainability. We use recycled fly ash, a by-product of coal fired power plants, in
our concrete. We provide fiber reinforcement made from recycled plastics, to battle cracks in concrete.
We make new asphalt with recycled asphalt and with recycled roofing shingles.
River Bend offers more than 100 different kinds of concrete, with a computer-controlled liquid color
system to tint concrete red, buff, dark gray, and many other shades. We provide asphalt, sand, gravel,and a variety of crushed rock.
River Sand
Sand is the general term for broken down granules of minerals or rocks, technically between about one- sixteenth of a millimeter to two millimeters in diameter, falling between silt and gravel in the spectrum of sizes.
There are many varieties of sand in the world, each with their own unique composition and qualities. This sand is obtained from banks or beds of rivers. River sand is fine and consists of fine rounded grains.The color of river sand is almost white and Grayish. River sand is usually available in clean condition and is used for plastering.
BLUEMETAL
A hard rock, bluish in color, which is crushed and used for construction purposes. The by product Blue Metal may replace sand and will be an artificial sand and will be used in construction of buildings.
We offer a wide range of blue metal chips that are acquired from our own quarry.
